Simply get a copy of the Jakarta Good Food Guide. Beautifully produced and well written, covering hundreds of eateries from the most luxurious to street stalls. Enough material here to keep you eating out every day for a year of two. Beware of some other guides which are just paid-for entries pretending to be reviews.
